Warren Township’s 12th Annual Winter Festival
Submitted by Amanda Altavilla
On Saturday, January 11, 2020, Warren Township Recreation held its 12th Annual Winter Festival, Bonfire and Fireworks event. The event took place on an over 60-degree day and was attended by over 3,000 residents and neighboring communities. The focal point of the event was the bonfire and the fireworks that were managed by the Warren Fire Department. Event goers were also able to enjoy various activities such as horse and carriage rides, petting zoo, carnival rides, marshmallow roasting, an ice sculpture artist and visiting vendor booths. The Recognized Sport Groups provided carnival games and the Warren Lions Club served hot chocolate. Taxi Cab Burger, Empanada Guy, Waffle De Lys and Angry Archies were selling food at the event. Please thank our sponsors and local volunteers. Without them, we could not have had a successful event.
