WARREN PAYMENT OF SEWER SERVICE FEES

On May 17, 2017, the Warren Township Sewer Authority and on May 18, 2017 the Township Committee approved and entered into a Shared Service Agreement.
Effective July 24, 2017, payments for sewer service that have been previously paid to the Sewer Authority offices will be collected by the Tax Collector’s office. The Sewer Authority will continue to be responsible for calculating and establishing the user fees for each property. The amount of your bill for sewer services will not change for 2017, only the location where the payment will be received will change.
Sewer customers paying Stub #2 with a due date of August 1, 2017, should utilize the stub provided.
• Payments made before Monday, July 24, 2017 should be delivered in person or by mail to the Warren Township Sewer Authority offices on the second floor of the Town Hall.
• Payments made on or after Monday, July 24, 2017, can be made in person to the Tax Collector’s office on the first floor of Town Hall or mailed to: Sewer Service Payments Attn. Tax Collector 46 Mountain Blvd, Warren, NJ 07059.
Effective August 1, 2017, sewer customers will be able to make their sewer payments online by utilizing the Warren Gateway, which is accessed through the Township website: WarrenNJ.org. On the home page of the website, click on “Warren Gateway,” then click on “Pay Your Sewer Bill Online” and enter your property information in the boxes provided. Tax payments can also be made online.
The Tax Collector’s office is working diligently with our software vendors and the Sewer Authority in order to implement this new program.
The Township Committee is implementing this change in order to streamline the collection process and to provide Warren residents with a single point of contact for both tax and sewer payments.If you have any questions regarding collections, please contact the Tax Collector’s office at (908) 753-8000, Ext. 231.
