The Wagner Farm Arboretum held its Festival of Butterflies, Family Fun Day, May 21st and what a joyous day it was. For six hours, families had their choice of partaking in the Petting Zoo, Crafts Fair, Garden Show, and a host of games.
The Warren Fire Department paid the farm a visit and gave the children an opportunity to use the fireman’s hose. Children laughed, played, and enjoyed getting wet. As the day began to wind down children were handed a small cover, which contained a dormant butterfly. A signal was given and everyone released their butterflies in unison. It was an astonishing sight and a perfect ending to a perfect day.
