On Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., the Cranford Village Improvement Association (VIA) will be hosting a garage sale fundraiser at the Cranford Community Center, 220 Walnut Ave., Cranford. Come on out to find a great selection of household goods, clothes, jewelry, books, furniture, etc.
Proceeds from this fundraiser support the VIA Nursing Scholarship Fund.
The VIA is a philanthropic organization that has been in existence since 1996. Every year since 1952 the VIA has awarded scholarships to Cranford students seeking a nursing career. This year nursing scholarships were awarded to two Cranford students, Amy Jackson and Ava Laverty. In addition to awarding scholarships, the VIA regularly contributes to several Cranford charitable organizations.
