Boys & Girls Clubs of Union County is pleased to announce an award from Vericon Foundation of Mountainside, NJ. Thanks to generous support from Vericon Foundation, the locker rooms at our Union Club have been updated and renovated. Vericon Foundation has selected Boys & Girls Clubs of Union County as the 2016 recipient of their annual gift to support local non-profit organizations. Staff from Vericon Construction worked tirelessly to upgrade our locker rooms, which are used by thousands of members and youth from all over Union County.
“We are so thankful for this award and the opportunity to work with Vericon Construction. They have transformed our old locker rooms to a new, sparkling space,” said Russell Triolo, CEO. “This renovation allows us to provide a best-inclass facility to our members and guests.”
The renovation included painting both boys and girls locker room walls, new doors on changing rooms, new sinks, new ceiling tiles, new base boards, repainting of all stalls, new mirrors, new artwork for walls and the floor tiles have been professionally cleaned and sealed to prevent further water damage. Next time you visit the Union Club please make sure to see the new locker rooms.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Union County offers youth programs in 5 communities in Union County: Plainfield, Elizabeth, Union, Hillside and Roselle. Teen leadership programs for ages 14-18 are available in Union, Elizabeth and Plainfield. Members participate in character, leadership, career preparation and community service activities throughout the year. Aquatics instruction is available at our Union Club.
