Valley Road School Art Show

Valley Road School Art Show At Clark Whole Foods Market

The artwork included atmospheric perspective paintings created by fifth graders and Kandinsky color studies made by fourth graders. Third graders had tree weavings on display and second grade artwork included circle weavings. Students in first grade had Paul Klee Abstract Cityscapes on display and kindergarten artwork consisted of a multimedia project called Ladder to the Moon and Kandinsky Concentric Circles.
Students felt like they were in an art gallery, showing their work to their family and friends while being able to enjoy some snacks provided by Whole Foods Market. Proud of her students’ artwork Matesic commented, “Having this showcase at the Clark Whole Foods Market is great for the students and the community. This partnership with the Clark Whole Foods Market helps to showcase the unique and beautiful artwork of the talented students from Valley Road School.”
