Union Winter Olympics 2022

Union Township held the first-ever Winter Olympics at the Union Sports Arena on Saturday, February 12, 2022. Participants were able to compete in a variety of family-friendly Olympic themed games, events, and performances.

The day began with skate lessons in the big rink, followed by a hockey clinic, and open skate for all visitors. Viewers also enjoyed figure skating performances and a visit from New Jersey Devils alumni Bruce Driver, Grant Marshall, and the Devils Mascot. After hitting the ice, contestants made their way to the soccer field for curling, penalty shots, and cornhole. Food trucks, music from DJ James, colorful stilt walkers, and a 360 photo booth were also available. The event was a big success with many members of the community coming out to support!
