Union Public Library Programs Offers Something for Everyone in March

Union Public Library (UPL) has many exciting events planned for adults in March, 2019 at both the Main Library (MN) and Vauxhall Branch (VH). All programs are free and open to the public.

Irish Heritage Month
Shoprite: Irish Shake
Shoprite Dietitian Megan Hewitt talks about healthy eating and offers free food samples.

An Irish Song Celebration
St. Patrick’s Day music, movement and mirth with singer/actress Francine Evans, and world class pianist Joel Zelnik, performing favorite songs such as “Danny Boy,” “The Wearing Of The Green,” “Harrigan,” and many more. Come enjoy Irish humor and a wee bit o’ step dancing.

Union County’s mobile Aging Service Kiosk (ASK) provides residents’ families and caregivers, with a convenient, friendly way to find out about services for the aging. ASK is staffed by professionals with the Division on Aging and Disability Resource Connection of the Union County Department of Human Services.
