Flag Football Program is a Success
The Township of Union PAL
This new Township of Union Police Activities League program has brought together the 6 township elementary schools in Union Township. Allowing both boys and girls to participate in a great skill building program. With the help from a great coaching team headed by Anthony Cioffi (The Cioffis Combine) this coed program has been able to show both boys and girls the fundamentals of flag football.
This 6 week beginner program allows the kids to learn through basic flag football drills. After each team has gone through the drills all the kids split up into their schools and the real fun begins. All of the 6 schools scrimmage against each other using the skills they just learned from the days drills. Running, passing, throwing, offense and defense. Each player gets to do it all.
We at the Township of Unions PAL are so proud of the success for this new program and everyone involved. Each child has shown so much progress. Everyone looks forward to where this program will go next and what it will do.
