Eagles Scouts Honored in North Plainfield
On Sunday, March 27, 2022, three young men from Troop 235 of North Plainfield, NJ were honored for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout – the highest rank attainable in Scouts BSA, formerly Boy Scouts of America! Because it takes years of hard work, service, and determination to become an Eagle Scout, this is a prestigious milestone that is recognized across the country and the world.
Since its inception in 1911, only 8% of all scouts have achieved the rank of Eagle after a lengthy review process. These young men have been in scouting together for over ten years under the direction and tutelage of their dedicated scout leader, Bob Holzer. Bob Holzer’s son, Matthew Holzer, was honored in (the fall of) 2021 for his Eagle Scout rank achievement. The newest Eagle Scouts of Troop 235 are: Anthony Ventriglia, Adam Stevens, and Brian Green. Congratulations to all!
