TUEF Raffle – Still Here for Students
The Township of Union Education Foundation (TUEF), a non-profit charitable organization whose purpose is to raise funds to sponsor innovative and educational programs in Union’s public schools, is sponsoring a raffle.
In light of the pandemic, diminishing funds for schools and the effect upon teachers and students, the grants issued from the Foundation are more important than ever. All funds raised go directly to grants for classroom use in the Union schools.
The cost of a raffle ticket is $5. First Prize is a $500 gift card donated by BCB Community Bank and Investors Bank. Second Prize is Local Merchants’ gifts valued at $250. Third Prize is a gift basket donated by White Realty and valued at $100.
Tickets can be purchased through contactless means via Paypal on the Foundation’s website tuef.org, or tickets are available at ConnectOne Bank at 356 Chestnut Street, 5 Points, or by calling Barbara at 908-687-5743.
Sue Lipstein, President of the TUEF, stated, “The Foundation is still here. We do what we can to support the students.”
The drawing will be held September 24, 2020. More information may be found on the Education Foundation’s website tuef.org.
