The Cranford Library will be kicking off our children’s summer reading program with a special “Touch a Truck” program, happening on Saturday, June 17th from 11:00 a.m. to noon in the library’s parking lot. Get a close up look at some amazing trucks, meet the extraordinary people who drive them, and sign up for Summer Reading!
Touch-a-Truck is open to the public; however, our summer reading program is limited to residents of Cranford. The library’s Summer Reading program is simple: children keep track of the time they spend reading using logs supplied by the library. Each week, they stop by the library to report what they’ve read and claim a prize.
The library will also be running a series of educational events for children and their families throughout the summer, including a used book sale that begins on the same day as Touch a Truck. Visit us online at www.cranfordlibrary.org to view a full calendar of events.
