Scholarship Applications Due March 17
GFWC Thursday Morning Club
The GFWC Thursday Morning Club will be offering a scholarship to one or more deserving Madison High School Seniors.
Each year since 1985, the Thursday Morning Club’s Madison Community House George Burroughs Scholarship has been given at the MHS June Awards Night. The scholarship is based on volunteer activities over and above church and school requirements. Students can obtain applications from the MHS Guidance Department. Requirements include: the completed application, a volunteer supervisor’s recommendation, and an essay about experience and growth through volunteering. Submit all three parts to the MHS Guidance Department. Applications are due March 17, 2022.
The Thursday Morning Club’s Motto “I Serve” is carried out by the Club in many different activities, groups they support, and community events. The TMC has been a supporter of MHS students for many years. The amount of the scholarship varies and more than one can be awarded.
