The Mustangs Works of Heart Club was recently recognized by Garwood’s Mayor and Council. The Club is comprised of 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students attending Lincoln School in Garwood, New Jersey. Under the direction of club advisor, Mrs. Carol Del Conte, they created crafts for the winter holidays and Valentines’ Day as gifts for the Senior Citizens Club in Garwood to let them know how much we appreciate them. The presentations were so well received by the seniors, that the Mayor issued a commendation to every member of the Mustangs Works of Heart Club in appreciation of their community service to the Seniors of Garwood. Club members attended the February 27, 2018 meeting of the Mayor & Council to receive their awards from the Mayor and Councilwoman Blumenstock.
