In addition to diligently practicing and memorizing lines, the 4th and 5th grade cast at Valley Road Elementary School mastered choreography and tribal pronunciations for this year’s musical, “The Lion King”. Stage crew and set design prepared colorful and intricate props, synced lights and organized music.
The students performed the show on Monday, March 21st for the entire school. The evening production took place on Tuesday, March 22nd at 7pm. The cast and crew of the Valley Road Elementary School’s play “The Lion King” took our best of luck wishes (or our Hakuna Matatas) and did an outstanding job. The show was a huge hit! We want to give a big thank you to the Valley Road PTA for the new sound system installed in our gym which has become a tremendous asset to the students’ performance.
Thank you again students, parents, teachers and administrators for all of your ongoing help and support to make this show such a roaring success!
