The Hope Chest Thrift Store

The Hope Chest Thrift Store, located at 26 Prospect Street in Westfield, is ready for Fall. The shelves have been stocked with seasonal inspired housewares, table linens, candles, decorations. Men’s and women’s fall pants, tops, jackets, and shoes are on display. An assortment of pocketbooks and scarves are available to accessorize any outfit and, as always, there are bracelets, necklaces, and earrings to complete the look. If a good book is what you’re looking for we have many to choose from along with a large selection of CD’s featuring any genre of music.

The Hope Chest is operated completely by volunteers from the Center for Hope Hospice and Palliative Care Auxiliary. All proceeds from the store go to help support residential care at the Center for Hope Hospice and Palliative Care facilities in Scotch Plains and Elizabeth. This care is provided to individuals regardless of their race, ethnicity, age, religious affiliation, or ability to pay.

Items that are sold in the Hope Chest have been generously donated by members of the surrounding communities and these tax-deductible donations are welcome on Tuesday and Saturday between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
