Peggy Koehler, a master flower show judge, was the guest speaker at the “Holiday Arrangements on a Shoe String” at the November 2nd meeting of the Garden Club of Watchung. Koehler provided ideas and easy design tips for using containers from around the house by combining unique ways with flowers and greens of the holiday season.
The Garden Club of Watchung will celebrate the end of our 59th year with a holiday luncheon in December. Vonnie Mott said, “We had a wonderful and busy year. We thank all those who attended and supported our spring plant sale and fall fundraiser, ‘A Sensational Evening’. Both were very successful. We now look forward to 2017, when we will be celebrating our 60 year anniversary.”
The Garden Club of Watchung is inviting the residents of Watchung and surrounding communities to join the active club. Meetings are held at various locations on the first Wednesday of the month at 11 a.m. from Sept. thru June.
