The Music Program at St. Michael Church, Cranford, will present its 2017 concert “Advent and Christmas Service of Lessons and Carols” on Sunday, December 10th at 4:00 p.m. The excellent acoustics of the magnificent church will ring with the choirs of St. Michael and feature the brilliant sound of the “Atlas Brass Quintet” for an inspirational concert.
Dr. David Bower, Director of Music and Organist at the church announced in addition to the quintet, a program featuring the Adult, Handbell and Youth Choirs of St. Michael together with vocal soloists. The audience is invited to join in singing familiar Advent and Christmas carols of the season along with organ, brass and choirs. The twenty-voice Youth Choir is a source of pride for the Music Program.
“Atlas Brass” maintains an active performance schedule and is composed of all professional musicians who teach and perform throughout the tri-state area. Dr. Bower indicated “we are fortunate to have this highly professional quintet, especially at this season when they are in great demand. Please join us in singing the joyous music of the Advent and Christmas season.”
