Home for Good Dog Rescue is gearing up for its annual Taste of Italy event. A Spaghetti & Meatballs Dinner and Tricky Tray that will be happening next month on March 9, 2019. The event which is now in its tenth consecutive year takes place at Long Hill Community Center in Stirling, NJ, and has grown both in size, prizes and entertainment over the years. This year the event will be emceed by Heather O’Rourke of ABC News.
More than 300 guests will gather for a family friendly Italian-themed dinner, with a menu boasting freshly prepared salad, spaghetti, mouthwateringly delicious meatballs and if that doesn’t fill you up a variety of desserts! Guests will have the chance of winning a wealth of prize baskets, including but not limited to gift certificates, pet products and electronics. Past years’ winners have gone home with laptop computers, televisions and more. Home for Good Dog Rescue will also be running their annual 50/50 raffle. The night is sure to be an evening of great food, fun and community.
All proceeds from the Taste of Italy event will go helping Home for Good Dog Rescue continue their mission in helping dogs in need. Home for Good is a 100% foster based, non-profit. They rescue homeless dogs from high kill shelters in the South. Socialize, care for, and provide them often lifesaving medical care at their property in Aiken, South Carolina, then transport them to the rescue in New Jersey. The dogs are nurtured in a network of foster families while they await adoption into loving homes, giving them a second chance at life. To date Home for Good has rescued more than 7,000 dogs.
