This photo is from SCLSNJ’s North Plainfield Memorial Library branch’s Talk It Up! New Jersey Orators Showcase March 8. The Library partnered with the New Jersey Orators to teach children 7-10 years old the art of public speaking and life skills, and encourage an appreciation for literature, reading and media arts literacy.
During this four-week program, which started in February, participants chose pieces of poetry/literature to practice and present in front of others at the March 8 Showcase.
