Fall curbside leaf collection
Curbside leaf collection will continue through Friday, December 1 (or the first major snow fall). Leaves should be placed at the curb in paper, biodegradable bags for pickup on household trash collection day. Property owners should not rake or blow leaves into piles in the street. Do not include twigs, branches, or other yard debris in leaf bags.
Please note, it may take up to two weeks after placing bags at the curb before they are collected. Leaves are not picked up by the same trucks that collect trash; it is a separate truck that performs leaf collection. Leaves left at the curb after the last scheduled collection day will not be picked up. More information is available at cityofsummit.org/leafcollection.
