Summer Reading Carnival at the Cranford Library

(above) The Cranford Public Library recently completed its annual Summer Reading Program, the theme of which was “On Your Mark, Get Set…Read!” Our Olympic readers outdid themselves this year: together, the children of Cranford read 16,757 hours! The program ended with a carnival celebrating the hard work of all the Summer Reading participants on Thursday, August 11th. Over 300 people braved the heat to play games, win prizes, create crafts, have their faces painted by an artist from ArteVino, and take a spin on the Fun Bus! For a list of other upcoming programs, visit the library Web page at cranford.com/library.
