Thanksgiving Food Pantry Donations
St Theresa’s Social Concerns Food Pantry is gearing up for their Thanksgiving food basket distribution once again! Last year they distributed approximately 275 baskets, including a $10 supermarket gift card and 280 turkeys. They anticipate a bigger need than any year before.
Nonperishable food items can be dripped of in the foyer of the Church or any day of the week between 9am – 3pm at the Rectory office.
There is a special need for canned corn and green beans, canned gravy (no glass), stuffing, cranberry sauce and canned yams as well as boxed cake or brownie mixes and frostings.
Gift cards to any supermarket in a $10.00 denomination are also needed.
Frozen turkeys can be dropped off the Friday before Thanksgiving (November 18th) between 9am – 3 pm at the Rectory office. Gifts card and checks payable to St. Theresa’s Social Concern can be mailed to The Church of St. Theresa, 541 Washington Ave., Kenilworth, NJ 07033.
Baskets will be distributed the Saturday before Thanksgiving (November 19th).
If you are a resident of Union County and need a basket, please call the Rectory to reserve once (908) 272-4444 between 9am – 3pm. Requests MUST be given by November 15th. Identification and proof of Union County residence will be required to pick up the basket on Saturday, November 19th between 9am – noon.
NO Baskets will be given out WITHOUT a reservation.
