Join Hanson Park Conservancy for Square Foot Gardening Basics!
Please join the Hanson Park Conservancy as we learn the basics of Square Foot Gardening with Althea Llewellyn. Gather your blankets and chairs and meet us at Hanson Park on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. for this free presentation! It’s a simple, efficient and productive way to grow vegetables, herbs and flowers in a small space with little effort. This innovative method of gardening was created by Mel Bartholomew. With this method, anyone can develop a green thumb! Come one, come all, this presentation is appropriate for ages 6 to 106!
Althea Llewellyn is an environmental educator and speaker. She is First Vice President of the Master Gardeners of Union County. She is also a Certified Master Gardener and Certified Square Foot Gardening Instructor.
Hanson Park is located at 38 Springfield Ave. in Cranford, NJ.
