SpeakAbility Toastmasters Club
The SpeakAbility Toastmasters Club of Scotch Plains and Fanwood held a virtual Speech Evaluation competition via Zoom on February 1st. Several club members were present as four club members competed in the contest. The contestants presented a two to three-minute evaluation of a prepared test speech. The contest’s top three winners were selected on the same day by the club’s respected judges. Jyotsana Narayanan, who took first place in the competition advanced to compete in the Division E Area Contest.
Toastmasters club is a nonprofit educational organization that operates for the purpose of promoting communication, public speaking, and leadership skills. The SpeakAbility club hosts meetings on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 7.45 p.m. at the following locations:
1st Wednesday: virtually via Zoom
3rd Wednesday: Hybrid Meeting – we meet in person at JCC of Central NJ, 1391 Martine Avenue, Scotch Plains, NJ and broadcast via Zoom.
