Honoring Those Who Serve Our Community
Submitted by Susan Baldani, a life member of the Scotch Plains Rescue Squad
The Scotch Plains Rescue Squad held its annual Installation Dinner on January 7, 2023. The all-volunteer organization has been responding to the urgent medical needs of the people of Scotch Plains and surrounding communities for 86 years.
During the dinner, officers were sworn in and members were commended for their years of service. One member, Harold Hill, whose father was one of the founding members of the rescue squad, was honored for his incredible 65 years of service.
