Somerset Home (somersethome.org), a local nonprofit organization that is dedicated to meeting the needs of abused, neglected, and homeless youth throughout central and northern New Jersey, was recently awarded an AT&T CARES contribution of $5,000. The funding is part of a special AT&T initiative that awards local contributions based on the nominations of AT&T employee groups with a strong record of volunteerism. Somerset Home has a longstanding relationship with AT&T employees through their volunteerism and the AT&T NJ Pioneers nominated Somerset Home for the contribution. Funds from the contribution will support mentoring, career and college readiness, and life skills development for vulnerable youth.
