Somerset County Sorority donates to F.I.S.H. of North Plainfield

Beta Alpha Rho Zeta Chapter of  Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., recently collected non-perishable food items to donate to F.I.S.H. of North Plainfield, a Community Food Program servicing North Plainfield residents for over 40 years.
Beta Alpha Rho Zeta Chapter is a graduate chapter established on November 18, 2016 in North Plainfield, NJ. Ten professional women chartered the chapter to be of service in Somerset County. The charter members are Kiana Lawhorn, Lynnelle Thomas, Adrianne Jackson, Catricia Shaw, Lytanda Zellner, Myra McDonald, Jacqueline Gaskin, Jacqueline Battice, Rashida Roach and Katrina Hampton. While our members have a wealth of skills in Education, Social Services, Health and Finance; we recognize we cannot work alone. Therefore, it is our number one goal to establish a working relationship with the County’s resources that support community outreach and volunteerism.
Our overall vision is to implement sustainable programs and partnerships that will improve the quality of life for the residents of Somerset County. In addition to fulfilling the needs of our National, Regional, and State initiatives; we plan to bring support to the following communities: Bound Brook, Franklin Township, North Plainfield, Somerville and South Bound Brook with additional community service projects held in the surrounding communities as needed.
