Learn about and View the Solar Eclipse was presented on Monday, August 21 at the Kenilworth Public Library. Sandy Lowery from the Pearl Observatory presented an all-ages educational program on astronomy. Protective glasses donated by STAR_Net were distributed to attendees and shared among others who visited the library during the eclipse. The library distributed 1,000 pairs of eclipse glasses in total, and several hundred people stopped by to watch this rare event.
