Students from Mount Saint Mary Academy in Watchung underlined their commitment to serving the needs of others on Saturday, April 16, when they participated in the 2016 Global Youth Service Day by volunteering at the Community Food Bank in Hillside.
The girls packaged and sorted food donations for the agency which feeds nearly one million individuals every year.
Established in 1988, Global Youth Service Day celebrates and mobilizes young people who improve their community through service. The event is celebrated annually in over 135 countries.
