The Skulski Art Gallery Presents First Exhibit

The Skulski Art Gallery of the Polish Cultural Foundation, located at 177 Broadway, Clark, New Jersey, pcfnj.org is proud to present first exhibit this year on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 6:00 p.m., featuring two polish fine sculptors, Andrzej and Maria Puzon. The exhibit presents in printed form: sculptures, reliefs, spatial forms and graphics by Andrzej and watercolors by Maria.

The public is welcome, admission is free, light refreshments will be served.

Andrezei Puzon was born in 1954 in Debica, Poland. Studies 1974-79 in Wroclaw, Sculpture faculty in the studio of prof. Jerzy Boron.  Dyploma in 1979 – department of studio, architectural and urbanistic sculpture.  From 1979-86  held position of sculpture and metal art teacher at PLSP (National School of Fine Arts and Design) in Zdunska Wola. Fron 1986 to present occupies with artistic work  and design. Works with firms producing fine applied arts.  Specializes in technique of embossing metal  sculpture and relief, also working on technology to produce fine applied arts.  Several national  and many private commissions .

Maria Popowicz-Puzon was born in 1952 in Luban Slaski, Poland.  Attended PLSP (National School of Fine Arts and Design) in Wroclaw, where she took her first steps in painting with artist Krzeslawa Maliszewska, and sculpture with Jacek Dworski, later professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw.  From 1974-79 studied at PWSSP in Wroclaw at Sculpture faculty under direction of Prof. Leon Podsiadly-studio sculpture and sculpture in architecture and urbanistic under direction of doc. Jerzy Boron.  Additional specialization in ceramics with prof. Krystyna Cybinska.   After graduation held position as sculpture and ceramics teacher at PLSP (National School of Fine Arts and Design) in Zdunska Wola.   Project – realization of Monument “Battles over Warta River” – first version.  Maria creates paintings and small sculpture forms – ceramics.
