Fanwood Presbyterian Church invites all to a meal of pancakes, sausages and apple sauce on Shrove Tuesday, March 5, 2019. There will be continuous seating between 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The celebrations on the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday and the Lenten season are called many things; Mardi gras, Carnival, Fat Tuesday or Shrove Tuesday. It is a day of fun, eating sweet and fat things before the fasting in Lent.
Tickets will be available in advance and at the door for $5 a person or $15 for a family.
The church dining room is located on the corner of Marian Ave. and McDermott Pl. We ask that you park on the street and enter through the ramp door off Marian Ave.
