Auditions for the 4th Annual fundraising event “Union’s Got Talent”

Auditions for the 4th Annual Union Township Talent Show Union’s Got Talent will be held Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 10am to 3pm in the Theater at Union High School, 2350 North Third Street, Union. Union’s Got Talent, similar to those popular hit television programs, aims to showcase the talent of Union residents of ALL AGES! Produced by the Union High School Performing Arts Company and Douglas Michael Krueger Scholarship Fund, this year’s event will include a partnership with the Township of Union through their “We Are Union” coalition, with Union’s Got Talent being featured as one of the main highlights during “Mayor’s Weekend.” All proceeds will help directly benefit the two organizations that directly give back to the students of Union Township. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top acts.
Interested participants can head over to www.uhspac.com (click on the Union’s Got Talent tab) for more information, contest rules and a registration application. Acts may range from solo acts to groups providing at least one member of each group lives or works in Union Township; or attends or is an alumnus of Union Township Schools. The following categories will be permitted for performance: singing, dancing, instrumentals, comedy, drama and novelty acts. All acts must be appropriate for a family audience.
Contestants of all ages are eligible to audition, with parent/guardian present for any performers under the age of 18. There is no charge to audition, and the producers are looking for a wide range of acts to showcase, so SHOW US YOUR TALENT!
Mark your calendars! The live show will be held on Saturday, September 24th, 2016 at the Theater at Union High School, hosted by Doc Burkhardt and featuring Celebrity Guest Judges. Come out and support some of Union’s biggest and brightest future stars!
