Sherman School Fundraiser Delivers
The Sherman School PTA’s 5th Grade Luncheon committee held a “Get Stuffed Bread FUNraiser” with Roselle Park small business Iorio Deli. Customers purchased Gilda’s famous stuffed breads and Sherman School parents delivered them to their doorsteps. The fundraiser received 10 percent of sales and the delivery tips. Sherman School PTA Fundraiser Organizer, Kathy Roché said, “It’s all about the teamwork! Thanks to Iorio Deli for being such a great partner.”
Owner Gilda DeIorio was happy with the overwhelming response. “People love my stuffed breads because I put love in every time I make them—just like my mother did in Italy when I was a kid.” Son Joe DeIorio, welcomed more organizations to participate: “We offer this fundraiser to local organizations as a fun and easy way to raise much needed funds.”
