The newly formed Cranford Brownie Troop 40772 from Walnut Avenue School has set out to give back to their community. The girls are learning the importance of being kind to others.
Their first project was to make headbands which were donated to the inpatients at Children’s Specialized Hospital in Mountainside. The girls also had the opportunity to visit the hospital and personally deliver the headbands along with cards for the patients.
The Troop is looking forward to other future service projects that include, helping at a soup kitchen, volunteering at a farm, and spreading kindness throughout the community. Watch for these future leaders of the world!
