Scout troops honor veterans

On May 21, 2023, Warren American Legion Post 293 with the assistance from Boy Scout Troop 228, Cub Scout Pack 182 and Girl Scout Troop 65278 placed American Flags on the graves of Warren veterans.
We first met with the American Legion. Then, we went to our first cemetery, where we retrieved the worn flags. We then, placed the new flags, into US veteran stands, which held the American flag. Some graves were established in the early 1800’s and late 1700’s! How cool! We are very grateful that the American Legion allowed us to assist them.
