Scotch Plains Volunteer Appreciation Night 2024
The Scotch Plains community came together on Thursday, August 1st, 2024 to celebrate Volunteer Appreciation Night. Crowds gathered at the Alan M. Augustine Village Green and beat the heat with ice cream, and live music performed by the Garden State Jazz Orchestra; on the last day of the township’s Free Summer Concert Series.
Volunteer Appreciation Night serves as an opportunity to recognize the individuals who share a commitment to public service in Scotch Plains. Volunteers range from town organizations such as the Scotch Plains Fire Department, Rescue Squad, Environmental Commission, Recreation, and more, all working to support the municipal government.
