Small Business Saturday
The Township of Scotch Plains and Scotch Plains Business and Professional Association partnered on Small Business Saturday, November 28th, to help promote local businesses through the nationwide initiative. In addition, the Scotch Plains Police Department hosted its first-ever Cocoa with a Cop event to promote the community’s policing efforts.
Small Business Saturday is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses and communities across the country. Founded by American Express in 2010, this day is celebrated each year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
