Monday, May 1, 10am – Bring Your Own Book, an informal virtual discussion of what participants have recently read and enjoyed. Registration is required.

Friday, May 5, 10am to Noon – Hypertension Clinicinside the Library with a public health nurse from Union County.

Fridays at 10am – Balance Awareness with Yasmin Ofek, a gentle but effective approach to moving confidently throughout the lifespan. Registration is required for this virtual class.

Thursday, May 11, 1:30pm – Learn how important and simple it can be to Reduce Food Waste for a Sustainable Future with Dr. Sara Elnakib of Rutgers University. Registration is required for this virtual program.

Thursday, May 11, 7pm – Guided Meditation, a virtual program with Barbara Brown. Registration is required.

Monday, May 15, 7pm – Friends of the Library Meeting & Election. Nominations can be submitted via email to spplfriends1@gmail.com.

Tuesday, May 16, 1pm – Afternoon Book Club will meet inside the Library to discuss Anxious People by Fredrik Backman.

Thursday, May 18, 7pm – Evening Book Club will meet outside the Library (weather permitting) to discuss The Violin Conspiracy by Brendan Slocum. If the weather is bad, the discussion will take place on Zoom.

Tuesday, May 23, 1-2:30pm – Drop In Crafting. Bring your current work-in-progress to the Library to work alongside other crafters.

Wednesday, May 24, 2pm – Senior Book Chat, an informal book discussion at Brookside Park. Register through Community Pass with the Scotch Plains Recreation Department.
