Scotch Plains National Night Out 2021
The Scotch Plains Police Department was joined by the fire department and rescue squad for the annual National Night Out Against Crime. The free community-building event was held on Tuesday, August 3rd, 2021 at Alan Augustine Park, to help promote police-community partnerships. Those in attendance were treated to live music and inflatable attractions for children, hot dogs, and giveaways.
National Night Out culminates annually on the first Tuesday in August. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. For more information visit natw.org.
