On Saturday, July 1 (rain date July 2nd) the Township of Scotch Plains will host its 2nd Independence Day celebration: Fireworks at the Scotch Hills Golf Course! The course will open at 7pm for viewers to set down chairs & blankets; fireworks will go off at dusk. Please wear comfortable shoes; no heels will be permitted on the golf course. Food Vendors will be on site throughout the evening. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the premises. There will be several road closures leading up to and during the event to ensure safety for pedestrians and motorists alike.
Please check the Township website: www.scotchplainsnj.gov for details. The golf course will be open Saturday morning for golfers; the last tee time is at 10:00am.
