National Merit Finalists and Commended Students
Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School seniors Luke Checchio and Miles Roper have been named semifinalists in the 2021 National Merit Scholarship Program. These two students are among approximately 16,000 Semifinalists in the 66th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. These academically talented high school seniors have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 7,600 National Merit Scholarships that will be offered next spring.
Additionally, seniors, John Dazzo, Matthew Dembiec, Amit Deshpande, Ryan Eng, Conor Feeney, Jayden Nyamiaka and Erica Schug have all been recognized as Commended Students in the 2021 National Merit Scholarship Program.
