In honor of Independence Day, the township hosted its first-ever fireworks display on Saturday, July 2nd. Hundreds of residents brought their blankets and lawn chairs to the Scotch Hills Golf Course to enjoy a nice evening with neighbors.
Before the fireworks show Mayor Kevin Glover stated “This event could not become a reality without the help of a great many volunteers, so I would like to thank all the members of the Cultural Arts Committee, the Fireworks Committee, the Police and Fire Departments, the Rescue Squad and of course the individual and corporate sponsors.”
