(Somerset County, NJ: May 26, 2015) Somerset County Library System of New Jersey is inviting adults to Escape the Ordinary this summer by reading and talking about heroes at SCLSNJ’s book discussion groups, being held at all 10 SCLSNJ library branches.
“Library book discussion groups challenge those who attend to expand their universe and read books that they would not normally read,” said Jennifer Konopacki, head of adult services at SCLSNJ’s Warren Township Library branch. “I’ve been told by many who attend our book discussion groups that’s why they keep coming.”
“Book discussion groups are a terrific way for people to connect, to explore, to share and to discover,” said Yvonne Selander, SCLSNJ’s collection management supervisor. “There is no limit to the number of book discussion groups that you attend. Escape the ordinary and pick up some books you might not normally pick up…then talk about them with us!”
