Catholic League of Forensics Competition

Saint Theresa School in Kenilworth was one of four schools, a total of 44 students, who participated in the Union County Catholic League of Forensics “Duo” Competition held at Saint Bartholomew Academy, Scotch Plains, on April 17, 2024. The team, under the direction of Mrs. Christine McCarthy and Mrs. Crystal Kacerek, consisted of twelve students: Krysta Pumarada, Kyle Pumarada, Santino Hanley and Amanda Vaz (8th graders); Sophia Cadestin, Robert Salgueiro and Isabella Hesse (7th graders); Saveria Hanley, Sofia Lolo, Maria Albarracin, Emily Tamayo and Noel Huaman (5th graders). Two of the five finalist pairs were Saint Theresa students. Amanda Vaz and Isabella Hesse were awarded First Place Ribbons.
