SPEAK Webinar Series

Safe+Sound Somerset is hosting a series of webinars for professionals, service organizations, and places of worship that will look at teen dating, signs of abusive relationships and the resources we provide for building safe and healing trauma-informed environments.

Each webinar will last an hour and will include a question and answer session.

Spotting the Warning Signs of an Abusive Relationship

Wed. July 29th at 7 PM

Times of stress and anxiety can strain any relationship, but when does something cross the line from normal ups and downs to unhealthy, or even abusive, dynamics? During this interactive presentation, we’ll introduce the characteristics of healthy relationships, as well as the most common “red flags” of domestic abuse. We’ll examine real-life examples of the excuses for abusive behavior and conclude with a discussion about how to get help and support a friend struggling with an abusive relationship.
