RWJ RAHWAY FOUNDATION PLANS 100TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION GOLF CLASSIC

“The Golf Committee will be celebrating the 100th Anniversary Celebration Golf Outing at the legendary Donald Ross designed course at Echo Lake Country Club in Westfield on Monday, September 19,” said Rick Parker, Golf Classic Co-Chair and Foundation Trustee.
“This is a very special year as we celebrate RWJ Rahway’s 100th Anniversary and a long tradition of community giving,” said Marlene H. Lubinger, Foundation President, adding that the proceeds from the Golf Outing will benefit the 100th Anniversary Fund to improve patient care units and services at RWJ Rahway.
Mr. Parker, Executive Director, CBIZ KA Consulting Services LLC, has served on the golf committee for many years, serving as Honorary Chairman in 2008 and now serving as Co- Chairman. His Co-Chair, Kevin Headd, retired golf pro at Oak Hill Golf Club, has served as the Golf Committee’s Co-Chair for the past 17 years. Also serving on the committee are Michael Widmer, Foundation Chairman, Executive Vice President, Northfield Bank and 2007 Honorary Chairman, Foundation Vice Chairperson, Bernice “Bunny” Bowen; RWJ Rahway Foundation President, Marlene H. Lubinger Foundation Trustees Chris Flynn and Roberta Geyer; Dr. Michael Bernstein, Director of Emergency Services at RWJ Rahway; Dave DePierro, Sodexo Food & Environmental Services General Manager at RWJ Rahway; Jeff Kowalczyk, Connections Personnel; John Moore, Senior Vice President, Willis; Lou Sgrizzi, Senior Vice President, Sodexo and the 2006 Honorary Chairman; Kirk C. The Golf Classic offers golfers the opportunity to enjoy a day on this prestigious golf course, and includes full golf registration, greens fee, driving range and putting green, golf carts, brunch buffet, hot dogs and more at the Halfway House, oncourse beverages, and a deluxe cocktail reception.
Golfers will have the opportunity to compete in special contests, including a Chipping Contest, sponsored by Station Cab. They will also have the opportunity to win a hole-in-one prize of His & Hers Rolex Watches, sponsored by Martin Jewelers, Cranford.
