Rutgers Cooperative extension visits 4th graders

Robert Gordon Elementary School 4th graders recently had the opportunity to work with and learn from Mr. Dimakos and Mrs. B from the Rutgers Cooperative Extension Program. Fourth grade teachers Ms. Laidoui and Ms. Karai provided the students with background knowledge, learning opportunities, and a way to connect with nature. They provided innovative science lessons about trees and collaborated with the RCE to bring the learning full circle for their students. The Rutgers cooperative extension presents and educates young learners all over New Jersey. They provide science-based educational programs. For more information visit: njaes.rutgers.edu/extension
