Rotary Roselle-Roselle Park Scholarships

$1,000 scholarships were recently distributed to each of three high school seniors, Ariela Reyes-Sosa of Roselle Catholic High School, Selina Chao of Roselle Park High School, and Janiya Green of Abraham Clark High School.

Scholarships are awarded annually to high school seniors in each of the three schools in the club’s service area.  Next year,  the club’s goal is to expand the program to six scholarships including three seniors who live in Roselle and Roselle Park, but attend high schools in other settings such as the Vocational Magnet School or Kenilworth’s Choice High School Program. The scholarship program has been one of Rotary’s service projects for over 30 years.

The Rotary Club of Roselle-Roselle Park is a service organization which has served the twin boroughs of Roselle-Roselle Park since 1923 for 101 years! The Rotary network includes 2,000 other Rotarians in north Jersey and 1.4 million worldwide.

The only qualification for joining is that you are a good person who wishes to make a difference in the community, the world, and in the lives of others.
