Kenilworth Rotary Club Announces Casino Night June 5th 2015
Fundraiser to benefit Rotary Scholarship program & Send our Child to Summer Camp program
The Kenilworth Rotary Club sponsors an annual Casino Night to benefit local 8th grade and high school students yearly. This spring’s, fundraiser will take place at Kenilworth’s VFW, 33 S.21st, Kenilworth, NJ on Friday, June 5 from 6:30 p.m., to 11:00 p.m. Tickets in advance will cost $25 or $30 at the door, including $100 in casino chips and refreshments.
Proceeds from this fundraiser gives 10-12 local 8th grade students and high school seniors in Kenilworth the opportunity to qualify for one of two programs; “Send our Children to Summer Camp” or the “Kenilworth Scholarship Program”. The summer camp program is offered for 8th grade students, which cannot afford attending summer camp for themselves. The Scholarship program helps Kenilworth’s high school honor roll seniors financially, transitioning from high school to college.
Members of Kenilworth’s Rotary Club are currently collecting contributions from local stores, residents and organizations that can assist in the success of Casino Night and cordially invite you to attend. Refreshments will be served with the purchase of a ticket during the event, tricky- trays will be auctioned during the auction hour, and everything in the event will be a donation from locals and/or monetary contributions to assist for putting the fundraiser together.
Established in 1948, the Kenilworth Rotary Club has been an active service organization helping local schools, the Kenilworth community, and national organizations for over 67 years. The club meets each Wednesday at Rinaldi’s (24 North 20th Street in Kenilworth) from 12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
